While this isnโt an astrology newsletter, it is definitely a place for those who like me love the moon, and Iโd be remiss not to mention the moon we just experienced. This weekend brought us the full moon in Capricorn, and wow did I feel her. I was lucky enough to watch the moon rise at an outdoor birthday party celebrating someone who is in the midst of a major personal transformation. Whether it was her energy, or the moonโs (perhaps both), I couldnโt help but feel the moon in me rising.
What do I mean by that, the moon in me is rising? For me, the moon is an emblem of divine feminine power, and with each full moon I feel more and more connected to that power in me. I am filled with awe and gratitude for my unique strengths, dreams, and possibilities. At the same time, being in a joyful, ecstatic celebration, full of dance and revelry, all by the light of the moon, made me realize just how connected we all are in our primal need for collective joy. When I look at the moon, I remember that, too. She emboldens each of us individually, and collectively.

Iโm also empowered by the realization that regardless of the moonโs phase, she always follows the same path. Whether she is full, or a crescent, she never hesitates to rise. Iโm going to follow her lead.
So tonight, take a moment, turn to the sky, and as the moon rises feel your inner moon rising, too: embrace your power, your joy, and your place in a world of people who like you, need to see and feel the light more than ever.
